Okay, so you’re probably not going to see all of these cities and destinations, no matter how many rupees you have in your pockets. If you wanted to see everything, it might possibly take you a few years of extensive traveling. Things You Must Do in IndiaWhen you’re traveling to India, there are a few things you should certainly put on your schedule, especially if you have a limited time in the country.
When you are traveling in a foreign country, it can be tempting to do the safe things as you don’t want to hurt yourself or be too excited. But that’s a boring trip, in all fairness to you. You want to do things that are completely different from the things that you do in your everyday life. Otherwise, why would you spend thousands of dollars to get to India?Take a few guide books out and decide on a few things that you must do in the major cities, i.e. visit the Ganges during a festival, tour the coast for street foods, etc. And on the other days, make sure that you schedule time only for exploring. This will allow you to get a much more personal trip and experience of India. And don’t be afraid to talk to the locals to see what you should do – they’re a much better resource for the things you want to see when you’re there. |
